I am a changed person because of my job in a factory. During the December holiday, I worked in a Japanese owned company and my job was to pack the bags of plastic gear into stack of trays.
What affected me deeply were the peoples working around me. They are mostly mother in their late forty and most of them come for low income families, which they have to work in order to pay for their children education. There something that I had notice about them, they reached their desk and ten minutes early and start doing their work after every break or lunch.
I was puzzle, as why are they rushing very time. I found the answer to my question later when I asked my friend about the issue. The fact was the company was going to dismiss some of the slow worker, as it will cause great difficulty in their life.
I came to realize that our parent willing to take an extra step just in order to get us something, just like them they willing to exchange their free time to get their job done for their children education. From this working experience, I learn how to treasure the allowance my parent gave me. Every single cents they gave mean the amount of work they put in for us.
